Dona is a certified Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner with over 10 years of experience. She is passionate about helping adults and children reduce daily stress and anxiety as well as past traumas using EFT and breathwork. Dona was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Australia and is mum to a 10-year-old and 13-year-old.
EFT works by tapping a series of acupressure points on the face and upper body with two fingers whilst voicing our issue. This helps to “short-circuit” the fight, flight or freeze (stress) response and re-wire our brain to have more clarity to resolve the problem.
Continue...EFT can play a major part in helping kids release fear, anxiety, trauma, and doubt. This technique often produces results a lot more quickly with children, as they don’t have the same amount of emotional baggage as adults do. They’re not caught up in the “how’s” and “why’s”, they just want to feel better.
A session with Dona will focus on energetically unblocking negative emotions stuck in the body. This is a wonderfully safe, gentle and effective method for removing the charge of strong, emotional pain.
Dona specialises in treating anxiety, grief, childhood trauma, parenting stress and sports performance.
For those who like to be outside in the elements, sessions can be set in nature upon request. Dona speaks fluent English and Cantonese.
